Originally written February 11, 2017. I start this song off saying “the way the joint fits in between my fingers”. For those who know me know I am not at all into smoking herb and getting high. As a preteen and early/mid teens I smoked so much that I got over it rather quickly and decided I wouldn’t do it anymore. Throughout the years every so often I would smoke but it was very rare. This same routine continued as I became older being very selective when I smoke and who I smoke with. This particular day was an amazing day with friends and family filled with fun, shopping, eating, adult beverages and......smoking. I ended up at a family members house where there was smoke being passed around so I continued. I got lost in my thoughts as always and started listening to music. One of my favorite producer duos is Hippie Sabotage so I started listening to their beats. All these words immediately began pouring out and this song was born. This is a random song with no story line just me and my high thoughts lol. I was high as shit so hence the song title “Up I Go”. Enjoy!
